About the Brand
RUH is a handmade jewellery brand rooted in India's rich craft traditions. Every collection begins with an exploration of a craft community, its history, techniques, and cultural significance. We collaborate closely with artisans across India to transform these traditions into jewellery designed for today, ensuring that craftsmanship continues to live beyond archives and museums.
At RUH, we believe heritage is not meant to stand still. It is meant to be worn, celebrated, and carried forward through thoughtful design.
About the Founder
Creativity has always been a part of Ruhi Tulsyan's life. What began as a childhood love for making things with her hands eventually led her to study design at NIFT, where she discovered a deep appreciation for India's rich craft traditions.
Over the years, that curiosity took her beyond classrooms and into craft clusters, where she learnt directly from artisans, explored traditional techniques, and experienced the stories that live within every handmade object. The more she travelled and learnt, the more she realised that craft is not just about skill; it is about people, culture, and identity. That realisation became the foundation of RUH.
Today, Ruhi works closely with artisan communities to create jewellery inspired by India's living craft traditions. Through RUH, she hopes to encourage a deeper appreciation for the people, heritage, and craftsmanship behind every handmade piece.
ADIVA Collection
Inspired by the traditional jewellery aesthetics of the Gond and Bhil tribal communities of Madhya Pradesh. Crafted in Gilat (white metal), each piece is handmade by skilled artisans using techniques that have been passed down through generations. ADIVA celebrates bold forms, rhythmic textures, and the raw beauty of indigenous ornament.
Rooted in tradition yet designed for contemporary wardrobes, the collection brings together cultural heritage and everyday wear.
MOTI BHARAT Collection
Inspired by the traditional Moti Bharat bead-wearing craft of Gujarat, this collection is handwoven bead by bead by skilled artisans. Each piece reflects the geometric patterns, vibrant colours, and meticulous craftsmanship that define this heritage craft. Designed for modern wardrobes while honouring traditional techniques, the collection celebrates Gujarat's rich bead-weaving legacy through jewellery that is both timeless and wearable.
